HB4017 Walters and Gearheart AM 3-10 #1

                Delegates Walters and Gearheart moves to amend the committee substitute on page 56,

following line 68 [Item 64/pg 55 of Gov’s], by inserting a new paragraph to read as follows:

                “The above appropriations may not be expended to pay services, fees, premiums or used to

develop or in support of contracts with managed care organizations, unless the contracts with managed

care organizations require a minimum medical loss ration of 87.5% or greater.”
